The core achievements of Guangxi Power Grid Company in "Key Technologies and Applications of Wireless Power Supply for Smart Grids" are internationally leading.

On January 6, the China Electromechanical Engineering Society held a project identification meeting in Nanning for the scientific and technological achievement "Key Technologies and Applications of Wireless Power Supply for Smart Grids." The experts of the identification committee unanimously agreed that this project researched the theory and technology of wireless power supply for smart grids, achieved a series of innovative results, and had significant economic and social benefits. It promoted the development of wireless charging technology for electric vehicles, with the overall research results reaching an internationally advanced level and the core results reaching an international leading level.

The project aims to achieve reliable, safe, economical, efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe use of smart grids. It addresses major key technical issues that urgently need to be solved regarding the power supply for online monitoring terminals of transmission and distribution lines and electric vehicle charging lights. It has broken through the application bottleneck of wireless power supply technology in the charging of electric vehicles and the power supply of transmission and distribution monitoring equipment. The project developed static and dynamic wireless charging systems for electric vehicles and successfully demonstrated their application at the Xianhu Training Base of the Guangxi Power Grid, enabling electric vehicles to charge immediately upon stopping, while driving, and without stopping for power supply. This has opened up new ideas for solving the power supply bottleneck problem in the development of electric vehicles. The project also developed a wireless power supply system for online monitoring terminals of transmission and distribution lines, which was demonstrated on 10 kV and 35 kV lines, achieving efficient wireless power transmission over medium distances and solving the problem of unstable power supply for online monitoring equipment, providing technical support for ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system.
